Leo – July 23 – August 22: 9 of Pentacles
La-la-la-LEO. Happy Birthday, Baby. This one’s for you… Take my hand…let’s go for a walk in the garden, shall we? I push open the ornate wrought iron gate and lead you to a beautiful apple tree. This tree is covered with the most delicious, juicy, ripe apples you’ve ever seen. Each apple marks an accomplishment in your life. I hand you an apple and let you bite into it…let you taste it. I want you to close your eyes and chew slowly and take in all that you have done. It’s that time right now, my dear Leo. It is time to notice all that you have done and accomplished. Lovely Libra….the 10 of pentacles in the cards is foretelling a feeling of success, of comfort and of really feeling as though you are really in a good space in the coming month. The 10 of pentacles also has a sense of “tradition” in it as well….this will have you thinking about family or your “friend family” and what you are “passing on to them”.  Whenever I see this card, I always think about my contribution to my family/family of friends.  What can I do personally to make the world a better place than when I arrived here?

Scorpio – October 23 – November 21: Ace of Cups
Scorpio, the great Ace of Cups has been served for you.  At a long dining table, you are brought to the honored seat and this silver cup is waiting for you.  There is something magical about it…and when you lift it to your lips to drink – you suddenly feel inspired and uncensored.  The “aces” always bring new beginnings, and the cups are emotionally inspired.  Time to  dive into those creative projects, wild loves, and things that touch your emotions to the core.  This magic love and creative potion is yours for the taking all month.  HAVE AT IT.

Question: Imagine you had nothing holding you back….no excuses…no obstacles….what would your heart want you to do this month?  Make a list and go for one full force.  And if you’re feeling super saucy – go for two or more!

Sagittarius – November 22 – December 21: Death
My Grandma Helen always welcomed this card because it meant re-birth and transformation, Sagittarius.  This is a PERFECT opportunity for you to start anew this month.  The cards say that August is going to be great for you to “clean house” on those things that you don’t want in your life anymore…or traits that you have carried too long that hold you back.  You are about to have wonderful things going for you….openings for dreams to come true and opportunities to unfold….but before you can take hold of those, you need to let go of the things that don’t work for you.  I promise you will feel better, lighter and ready to soar after you do a bit of a clearing.

Question:  What traits would you like to “die” in your life?  These could be low self esteem, financial worries, poor health choices, fear?  Write these things down and set the piece of paper on fire.  Watch it all burn away.

Capricorn – December 22 – January 19: 6 of Wands
Capricorn, let me tell you my favorite story about the butterfly.  She started as a caterpillar and then cocooned herself and became unrecognizable goo.  Inside the cocoon, she transformed into the butterfly.  Day after day, she beat her wings against the cocoon to escape and break out.  It took her awhile before she gained the strength in her wings to be able to break out and soar.  You are that butterfly, Capricorn.  You have broken out of the cocoon and soared to the sky in victory. Nice job!

Question: What have you accomplished that you are really excited about?  What are those things that you pushed on through and fought to get where you are or get the things that you dreamed of?  No matter if they are little victories or big victories.  It’s time to celebrate how far you’ve come.

Aquarius – January 20 – February 18: 3 of Cups
Aquarius – this month is about being inspired by spending time with your favorite cohorts, collaborators and partners in crime.  The cards are saying that it’s time that you seek out the company of those who make you feel like the truest you and and inspire you to no end.  The 3 of cups are friends that it seems like you’ve known for lifetimes.  They’ve got your back and you’ve got theirs.  They are the friends that – even when you haven’t seen them in awhile, you can jump right in as if no time has passed as soon as you meet up again.  The 3 of Cups beckons you to reach out to those true connections and plan to spend time around them.

Question: In your lifetime, who are three people who have made a difference in your life as a friend?  Reach out to them this month and thank them, or set something up so you can chill out and enjoy each other.

Pisces – February 19 – March 20: Justice
Sweet Pisces – there is a game I love to play that’s just called “truth” it’s like truth or dare without the having to drink water out of the toilet bowl dare part.  I love truth because you can sit across from the people you are playing with and ask them anything about anything and they will answer you honestly.  I feel like sometimes in life, we get so afraid of what other people are going to think about us, or we think that our things are so “weird” or we’re so ashamed about ourselves for some reason or another that everything gets blown up into a big deal.  Truth and trust is awesome.  The Justice card asks you to be fair with others and fairness will come back to you.  It says that what we put out there into the world, be it good or bad, will come back to manifest in our lives.  Show extra kindness, love, support and truth to others this month and feel how good everything clicks into place.

Question: The Justice card also asks you to be kind and honest with yourself.  Have you been wondering what “the right thing” to do is?  Listen to your heart and it will tell you the truth.

Aries – March 21 – April 19 : Two of Wands
Darling Aries – the two of wands is about planning for the gorgeous adventures in your life.  Where as the ace of wands is about the inspiration and new beginnings – the two of wands is rocking out an action plan for your dreams and goals.  I once had a dream that I died and had to stay in this coffin in the afterlife because that’s what I thought you had to do.  Only after I heard people dancing and laughing around outside, did I peek my head out to see this beautiful vaudeville-ish afterlife that I had been previously missing out on.  It’s time to move the top off that box you’ve put yourself in or that life has put you in – and step forward with excitement knowing that anything can happen and adventure awaits!

Question: Aries, what is some dream or some adventure that has been whirling around your brain in the past few months?  Are you ready to break out of your box and go for it?  Write down three things that you would do if you weren’t afraid of failing.  Then SET OFF to the adventure….one step at a time.

Taurus – April 20 – May 20:  Daughter of Cups
The Daughter is in the water, taking action and swimming calmly towards her desires.  The water is illuminated with hints of rainbow that she offers you…intuition, passion, deep emotional connection and creativity.  She asks to swim beside her and take “action” on all of these things.  August will be a month of taking the dive into your passions and soaking up the romance of poetry, of your creative self, of your imagination.  These will be your greatest strengths this month.  You remember when you were little and your teacher would come over and rap on the desk and yell, “Quit daydreaming!”?  Well, this is the month when you say fuck that advice and daydream to new realms of possibility and take action.

Question:  The Daughter of Cups guides you to calm action….feel that confidence in your passions and creativity?  What would you like to “dive” into?  In your daydreams, your genius will emerge.  Then take heed and go on that path.

Gemini – May 21 – June 20: The Hierophant

Gemini, the key of knowledge awaits you this month.  Whenever this card is thrown down, I take note of the colorful lightning strike of inspiration and the raven song as he clutches the key.  This raven is you this month as you open your mind to knowledge, learning and teaching.  Sometimes with knowledge, you have to let go of the fact that you don’t know everything.  Accept that you can be a beginner at things and that’s okay.  Open your mind to learn and study.  Also – this card always speaks in two fold to me…in what way can you teach others?  How can you be a the teacher as well?  The strongest people are both teachers AND students at the same time.

Question: What is something you’ve wanted to learn but might be afraid of because you were worried about “not knowing anything” or being seen as “stupid”?  Cast those things aside this month and reach out to a teacher to guide you.  It will be worth it and the growth you achieve will push you ahead by leaps and bounds.  Also, what are the ways in which you could offer your knowledge to others?  If I asked you right now to teach something, what would that something be?

Cancer – June 21 – July 22:  Mother of Wands
As you are starting out your new year, following your recent birthday, the Mother of Wands comes to you to share some of her “fiery” strength, will and determination with you.  See those eggs in the nest that she is protecting?  Those symbolize your dreams and desires.  You take the spirit of that great snake and wrap yourself around those dreams to nurture and protect them.  She asks you to be like the snake and be bold and show courage towards making your dream desires into realities.  You are a leader and a visionary.  This month is prime time to set your focus on bringing those “dream” eggs into the hatching – taking over the world stage.  <3
