I just got home after an amazing show at Le Scandal. It was an electrifying night….I got to perform with World Famous *BOB* and Bonnie Dunn. I felt like I left my body doing my Golden Isis Act, the crowd was perfect, the mood was perfect, everything was just right. Then for my second act, I sang with the Blues Devils who are brilliant. They followed along musically with every sway of my hip. So many of my friends came out tonight….I could see them in the audience and it made me feel wonderful on stage. At one point, I was singing, looking out into a blue spot light and thinking about how grateful I am to have these moments…to be here, to be doing what I love, and to be enjoying every second of this beautiful madness.
….And then I walked out afterwards to say hi to my friends….and Joan Jett is sitting at a back table.
Yep. I met Joan Jett tonight. *faints*
Now I’m going to pass out with my glitter still on.
