Election Day
After 27 hours of traveling by taxi, train and planes – I flew into New York an hour and a half ago from Germany, exactly one hour before the polls closed in NYC.
So before I did anything….before even setting foot in my home for the first time in over a month, with everything I own stuffed into three suitcases sitting outside the polling booth – I did this….
In my travels – all day yesterday and today to get back home, so many people I met were talking about the elections. It is on everyone’s minds all over the world right now. I saw Obama shirts and pins in all the places we toured. Everyone is anxious for a good change.
So far it’s looking good….
Fingers crossed.
The whole world is waiting.
GO OBAMA!
