I met Burke 14 years ago today. We were in school working on a student film. It was love at first sight for me. Within a few years of meeting, we were hashing out our own stories and the beginnings of our screenplay Revolver began.

It was put on the back burner for so many years, because other things in life happened. We both have been dreaming of Revolver coming true for so long. It’s a story we wrote when we first were falling in love.

Revolver is the story of two people on a road trip together – it is a story of opposites, of trust, and of fighting for what they believe in. Their story is shaped by the people they meet along their journey.

In the past 22 days, we have been traveling cross country, fighting for the dream of our lifetime. And our story has been shaped by the people we have met along the way.

Thank you so much for being a part of that journey with us.

Today, we will both see The House On The Rock in Wisconsin for the very first time together. The House on the Rock is in our screenplay…it is a place where Pocket and Blue (the lead characters in our screenplay) fall in love. We made our trip happen, so that on our anniversary we would get to see it together.

So if I’m not tweeting as much as I normally am, it’s because I’m taking a day to celebrate this wonderful soul mate that I have been blessed with. I want to take in every second of this day and appreciate the magic of finally bringing of our story into the world.
